Undetected

Wading water hunter
ever watching,
through the layers
of its solitary reflection;
for what shadows reveal.
What is he looking for?
The movement of a meal;
I want to see the strike.
So fast! It's done.
Now relaxed,
under the morning light.
This must repeat a hundred times
at the marsh near where I live,
where all of this goes on
undetected.
