The
Nikon FT-1 Mount Adapter I ordered arrived in the mail today. I got a chance to conduct a few tests while there was still daylight. The good news is that it does everything I thought it would do. So, no more "white-out" delay after an exposure. Plus, I can use Aperture Priority and Exposure Compensation once again. The FT-1 also allows the camera to shoot in HD movie mode, which was blocked when using the generic T-Mount. As for manual focusing via the spotting scope, I think I'm doing better than any auto-focusing system I've ever used for digiscoping. I won't have to ditch the TLS APO adapter after all!
