Spring has arrived ... well, sorta!

Happy Spring! Or ... whatever it is that's going on out there. Well, today is the Vernal Equinox. Spring-like weather was exceptionally early last year and I recall Bloodroot was already in bloom by this time. This will not be the case this year, but my birding field trips are right on schedule:

April 18th @ 6:30 p.m.  Pheasant Branch Conservancy - Prairie (FoPBC)
April 25th @ 6:00 a.m. Pheasant Branch Conservancy - Creek Corridor (MAS)
May 2nd @ 6:00 a.m. Pheasant Branch Conservancy - Creek Corridor (MAS)
May 14th @ 6:00 a.m. Pheasant Branch Conservancy - Creek Corridor (MAS)
May 16th @ 6:00 a.m. Pheasant Branch Conservancy - Creek Corridor (MAS)
May 23th @ 6:00 p.m. Pheasant Branch Conservancy - Prairie (MAS)
May 25th @ 9:00 a.m. Thomson Prairie (TNC & MAS)*
June 8th @ 8:30 a.m. Grassland Birds at Middleton Airport (MAS)
June 18th @ 7:00 a.m. Pheasant Branch Conservancy - Prairie (MAS)
June 22nd @ {time} Pope Farm Conservancy (MAS)

I will post an update when I know times for the Thomson Prairie and Pope Farm Conservancy field trips. All of these field trips are free and open to the public. Rain or shine, but I will cancel an outing if there is severe weather.

*The May 25th Thomson Prairie field trip requires registration. Email Maureen O'Brien for details.
