First Spring Migrants!
American Robin
57° F? What a drastic change! The weather today was simply delightful. Sandhill Cranes, Red-winged Blackbirds, and an influx of American Robins are being reported throughout southern Wisconsin. One observer reported an Eastern Meadowlark in Dane County this morning. I imagine bird activity at Pheasant Branch Conservancy picked up today, but yesterday it was pretty much the same assortment of birds I've been seeing all winter.
