It's more than enough to sit beneath an oak tree
under a beautiful October sky...
Song Sparrow
To know the little feathered critters
hiding in the brush and grass...
White-crowned Sparrow
To share time and place
with Nature's silent life...
To watch a spider
glide along silky strands...
Marbled Orb Weaver
To hear a call note
and know the being it belongs to...
Yellow-rumped Warbler
But how sad it would be to have less.
