"A man can’t have too many guitars or too many shotguns."
― Robert Earl Keen
New hobby! I going to take up Skeet and Sporting Clays this summer. I got an incredible deal on this Beretta 694 over and under 12-gauge shotgun for that goal. This likely completes my firearms pursuit, as I have a few ARs, some precision rifles, and pistols. But as Mr. Keen said ... right? As far as Fender Stratocasters go, Dave's has a nice Lake Placid Blue 62, but thus far I've not jumped on it. Fender has come out with a few new 2022 models but so far none of them speak to me. I haven't fired the shotgun yet, but a colleague is going to teach me the ropes of the sport. Believe it or not, a record $1.1 Billion went to conservation in 2021 via the Pittman-Robertson Act (Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act), which is an excise tax on firearms, ammunition, and archery gear.
